Welcome to ASK SUE, the section of our site where we answer your questions

about your experiences in the lifestyle.

The lifestyle is a unique experience for everyone and no two people and no two

couples experience it the same way. There are always going to experiences

that will look one way before you experience them, and then look completely

differently after they’ve happened.  Here in ASK SUE, we tackle all the

questions that you may have but were afraid to ask.

We’ll answer as many questions as we can.  Please do not be offended if your

specific question doesn’t get answered on the site.  We promise to get to your

questions as soon as possible!

This section is dedicated to Sue Gould, Ron Gould’s wife and partner in Club

Adventure who passed away in 2008 due to cancer.  Sue was influential in the

lifestyle community and a champion of sexual freedom for all people.  Sue aka

Swing Mom, started this column over 10 years ago, and we continue it here in

honor of her.

The answer to October’s question:

  

First, let me introduce myself. My name is Tracey. My significant other and I

(Dave) met as swingles in the lifestyle and decided to become a couple a few

years ago. By swingle, I mean that we both shared in the swinging philosophy,

but did not have partners. Individually, we have a long history of swinging

activities and are really enjoying our time together as a couple in this fantastic community! You may remember Dave as the DJ for Ron and

Sue – and he will continue in that role as well as working on the web site. I will be greeting people at the door with Ron there to introduce

me and responding to the Dear Sue letters and calls that come in. I will try to keep my own philosophies as well as keeping the spirit of

everything Sue worked so hard for. (I might not be the *Queen* as Sue so loved to say, but I’ll work on *Goddess*!!!!  LoL)

Thank you so much for your kind words. I will pass them on to Ron! I know everyone in the community felt very much the same way you did:

that we were a part of the family and yet there would never be enough time to get to know Sue. I am so glad to know that you found such

joy and friendship with Club Adventure!

I was really excited about CA’s new opening.

My husband and I really missed those

fabulous parties with Ron & Sue.  I knew she

was sick, but after some time I expected and

wished the best for her.  I would read her

comments and enjoyed all of them.  I

especially enjoyed the ones about the callers

with all kinds of excuses. The first time I

called the club I was really nervous, then Sue

answered the phone.  We talked about dogs

and many other things - she made me feel so

comfortable.  She was at the door our first

night at a party and I felt like I was going to a

family reunion.  I wish I had more time to get

to know her.  My husband and I will be part of

the new club, we will be there for her Ron

and for her friends.  We really wish you all of

the best and yes, I’ll keep reading Dear Sue!”
